LEARNING INNOVATIONS BASED ON THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE SUBJECT AT MUHAMMADIYAH ALAM SURYA MENTARI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SURAKARTA

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of learning innovation with natural use in   SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari, describe the implementation of natural environment based learning innovation on Indonesian Language subject in this school; Describe the constraints and solutions faced by teachers in the implementation of learning. This research type is qualitative research of this research design is case study approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity test of data is using triangulation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this research are the forms of learning innovation with the utilization of nature are learning directly with nature, outbound, and play; implementation of natural environment-based learning innovation on Indonesian Language subjects have 3 stages, namely: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The research was only conducted in one primary school and there was no data validation of the success rate of innovation in utilizing the natural environment as a learning resource. The benefits of this research bring out the ability of students through seeing, involving themselves, and experiencing directly the things they learn that are sourced from the natural environment. The originality in this study can be observed from the differences in the literature used, the theory used, the object and time of research, measuring instruments, and research findings.
