THE IMPLEMENTATION OF GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING SERVICES ON SEXUAL BEHAVIOR AT SMA NEGERI 01 YOSOWILANGUN

Abstract

This research focused on how to plan the implementation of guidance and counseling services on sexual behavior at SMA Negeri 01 Yosowilangun? The aim of the research is to describe how guidance and counseling services were implemented on sexual behavior at SMA Negeri 01 Yosowilangun. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods by using data collection with observation, interview and documentation techniques. The validity of the data used is the credibility of triangulation of data sources and confirmability. The conclusion obtained is Result 1). The form of planning in this research went according to plan, where the BK teacher prepared media in the form of presentation slides, video footage related to the material and diagnosis sheets that could support the implementation of the guidance and counseling process. 2). The implementation was preceded by the guidance counselor inviting the students to discuss with each other while interspersed with stories so that the students were provoked to continue showing their arguments regarding sexual behavior, then continuing with this core activity the students were very enthusiastic by participating in every treatment given by the guidance counselor, even at the screening stage. video footage which is then used as a simulation and role play made the students understand and were able to think deeply about the impact they felt if they engage in deviant and inappropriate sexual behavior. 3). At the evaluation stage, the teacher carried out a re-reflection based on the results of the assessment and initial diagnosis. It was found that the students were much more open and fully aware that their perspective regarding sexual behavior which was considered normal was a hole that could destroy the person, family, and impact their survival in the future
