DEVELOPMENT OF SPINNING WHEELS LEARNING MEDIA TO ENHANCE THE MASTERY OF MUFRODAT IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

The purpose of this research are 1) to describe the development of spinning wheels learning media to enhance the mastery of mufrodat 2) to find out whether the development of spinning wheels learning media is effectif to improve mufrodat learning in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness of the media. This type of research is Research and Development using the Borg and Gall model through the One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design approach with steps in the form of Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation. This development research is aimed at improving the mastery of Arabic language in school by students of the 8th grade of Ittihadiyah Junior High School. The techniques is observation, interview, questionnaire, documentation and test. While the data analysis techniques used are normality tests and paired sample t tests using SPSS. The results of the study explained that the level of ability or proficiency of Arabic vocabulary for students is fairly high by using media in the form of Spinning Wheels. The results of the research from the product validity level data are 85% validation of designers with valid qualifications and no need for revision. Validation of learning media validators with a validity rate of 90% with very valid qualifying and not need to be revised. Results of during the pre-test 57 and post-test has reached 83 with a Standard deviation value of 5.4. It can be concluded that the use of Media in the form of Spinning Wheels for mufrodat learning is effective.
